Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews, or simply Red Robin, is an American chain of casual dining restaurants founded in September 1969 in Seattle, Washington. In 1979, the first franchised Red Robin restaurant was opened in Yakima, Washington. Red Robin's headquarters are in Greenwood Village, Colorado. As of August 2020, the company had over 570 restaurants in operation with 90 being operated as a franchise.

"The cooks are creeps! A large percentage of coworkers use drugs. No one cares about anything except gossiping about the other employees. RUN away as fast as you can!!!!!"

"I worked there for 10 years. I left because they implemented this new tipping agenda. You no longer work for tips on your own but now do a tip pull. It honestly sucks because you can be working really hard and the other people you work with don't work as hard and they still get a percentage of your tips. also management micro manages."

"Working in Red Robin is ultra stressful. The customers are rude, and your paycheck will either depend on them or your pay will come from Red Robin and they're stingy. The company and CEO are pretty terrible."

"The location I worked at was dirty, had mice, and many more problems that management refused to acknowledge or fix. I was disgusted to work there for the time that I did, and I would never recommend anyone to work there either. They do not treat their employees with respect by any means.nothng, not even a lunch break.Had to sign papers if you didnt work 3 hours, so you wouldnt get paid for minimum 3 hours"

"Managers pick favorites and get rid of the good workers and guilt trip you if you have to call in sick. GM is all over the place and has no set plan, he just likes to yell at peopleNone"

"Management lies about cross training their employees. They dont appreciate their cooks either. You have a bad attitude for a week/one day they hold that against you. Yet they say they move people up within. Not true. I've been working there since December and still not cross trained. Always some excuse as to why they cant. They absolutely play favorites. Dont work here you won't move up at all. Don't get stuck making the same mistake as I didtheNoneLiars"

"Worst workplace I've ever had the displeasure of being employed at. Managers pick and choose favorites and it's very hard to move up in the company unless related to someone in management. If you are not related to anyone working at this particular red Robin, you are ostracized and paid less."

"If you’re a good worker take your time some place else, Management does not care how they speak to you and will hold raises from you all while making you do other people’s work due to favoritism."

"The company cannot drive in sales and has no structure to support the sales team nor the cook staff. Making it harder to do your job is the way of life in the 3 separate locations i worked."

"Whatever you do, do not work for this company!! I was there for two years! They will use you like no other, management does not care about their employees what so ever! Very disrespectful overall! Horrible staff... if I could I would give this company zero stars!!!"

"It's fine if you like gang culture and being ordered around by a mean/ hateful general manager. It is physically hard work and not much thanks if you do a good job. There's a reason they can't keep line cooks......they don't reward the ones that do good work."

"The managment is two faced and doesn't care of anyone but their own pockets between forcing staff to get our tables to leave surveys that must give us a 9 or 10 by taking our shifts if we don't get the numbers they like even when many times the guests problems are not to do with us to having innapropriate manager advances towards team members and favorites being played its a toxic environment"

"Management is bad. They bully you, talk down to you and the worst part is they are the most incompetent. Two managers are especially condescending and insult staff often . Severs break down in the back room and staff have walked off due to unprofessionalism and how they're treated. They expect you to do your jobs and theirs and when there is any miscommunication at all, you are to blame. To them, you are lesser than. They require alot and give very little . They're advertisement is very misleading as pay is different then what is stated and they don't offer you discounts on phone plans or concert tickets --its a lie. The atmosphere is demeaning and depressing and the pay is not worth the emotional turmoil that you endure. I got anxiety everytime I went to work there and defending yourself is frowned upon. Positions are not solid as everyone does everyone's job, no organization and staff deserve better . I honestly feel bad for everyone who works there except the managers... Red Robin gave me work PTSD .Great staffPoor management"

"I have never worked in a restaurant that is so poorly handled and employees selling drugs in front of the managers! The filtering methods for the fryers are dangerous and team work is non-existent."

"The Red Robin in Hamburg PA was the worst job I've ever had. They did not respect me or the fact i was working another job to support myself since they paid so terribly. They continued scheduling me for the days i worked at my other job. but they eventually gave me an ultimatum "us or them" the decision was an easy one seeing how miserable they made me. Also their "doubles" are 4 hours then a 5 hour break then 4 more hours later in the day."

"The location I worked at there, were a couple good people I worked with, but overall its is very cliquey and the clique will refuse to do there job add tables to overload you while they are in their phones and crying about doing work. Then shove all of their work on you at the end of the night. The GM will lie to you, while other managers are outside getting high with the kitchen staff. Just a hot mess.1 or 2 good managers out of many. Good food.Bad management, will not work with your availability."

"Red Robin Order was missing milkshake, Burger was cold and soggy So they refunded me for the shake and burger after having to contact customer service twice. Now I still end up paying 14.00 for a side of broccoli and cold fries. I was warned about Grubhub but took a chance. Stupid me. What an aggravation on a Saturday afternoon. Now I find out they wont refund me for a week. No dinner for me tonight."

"Red Robin is not a safe place to eat everybody touches your food while they're preparing it and packing it up and putting it on your tray to send it to your table not only does everybody make your food and touch it but even when they get your sauces their fingers going the sauce and they'll still put it on your plate and give it to you nine times out of ten they don't wash their hands I've witnessed this for several years working there I don't understand even when I would complain about it nobody did anything about it it's disgusting people can die from stuff like that. The two that I've worked at is cottonwood as well as century Rio in Albuquerque."

"Red robins food is nice but the after mass is not do you have an upset stomach and you’ll be going to the bathroom all night it’s almost like they put laxatives in Your food"

"It is just ok. The last time we went there they “ran out” of Mac n cheese for the kids to have a refill then when my daughter asked for a refill of fries instead they kept forgetting to bring them. Food is near hot when you receive it and I have witnessed first hand servers eating fries off your plate before it gets to your table."
